Summary

According to the Default Global Property Settings:
- Drives with total size between 16GB to 300GB will generate a ticket when the free space goes below 10% of the total size. However, the ticket will only be closed after the free space grows 2% larger than the 10% of the total size.
- Drives with total size between 300GB to 1024GB will generate a ticket when the free space goes below 30720MB (30GB). However, the ticket will only be closed after the free space grows 4096MB larger than the 30720MB, i.e., the ticket will close after free space reaches at least 34GB.
- Drives with total size larger than 1024GB will generate a ticket when the free space goes below 51200MB (50GB). However, the ticket will only be closed after the free space grows 6144MB larger than the 51200MB, i.e., the ticket will close after free space reaches at least 56GB.

Example:
In the above example:

- Drives with total size between 300GB to 1024GB will generate a ticket when the free space goes below 40960MB (40GB). However, the ticket will only be closed after the free space grows 4096MB larger than the 40960MB, i.e., the ticket will close after free space reaches at least 44GB.
- Drives with total size larger than 1024GB will generate a ticket when the free space goes below 102400MB (100GB). However, the ticket will only be closed after the free space grows 8192MB larger than the 102400MB, i.e., the ticket will close after free space reaches at least 108GB.
- The monitor set will only monitor the C drive of the machines in this group.
Note: The above explained EDFs can be used to override the global thresholds defined by the system properties.

In the above example:

- Drives with total size larger than 1024GB will generate a ticket when the free space goes below 204800MB (200GB). However, the ticket will only be closed after the free space grows 10240MB larger than the 204800MB, i.e., the ticket will close after free space reaches at least 210GB.
- The monitor set will only monitor the C, D, E, and F drives of this machine.
Note: The above explained EDFs can be used to override the global thresholds defined by the system properties and values stored in the group level EDFs.
Ticket Category
- Connectwise Manage board, type, and priority for the ticket can be set by setting the proper ticket category.
- The ticket will be created by the EPM - Disk - Script - Enhanced Disk Space Monitoring Process script and the ticket category can be set at the following levels:
- In the script's global variables. Setting the relevant ticket category ID in these global variables will allow the script to create tickets under those categories.
- At the group level. The ticket category can be set from the groups where the internal monitor is applied. This ticket category will only be picked if global variables are set to 0.
- On the global monitor set. The ticket category can be selected at the monitor set itself. This ticket category will only be picked if the group level ticket category is not defined and global variables are set to 0.
- If the ticket category is not set from any of the above-mentioned places, then the ticket will be generated under the default ticket category.
- In the script's global variables. Setting the relevant ticket category ID in these global variables will allow the script to create tickets under those categories.

Q: The monitor is throwing errors after the import?
A: Run or debug the script against a random Windows computer. Set the user parameter SetEnvironment
to 1 during execution. This step will create the associated EDFs and System Properties.
Q: How to limit the monitor set for the workstations to monitor the C: Drive only?

Q: How to change the threshold for a computer?
